Covington & Burling LLP has a reputation for excellence in the practice of law. Covington has over 1,000 employees in non-legal positions in its US and European offices. Our staff provides a full range of support services in the following administrative departments: Accounting, Human Resources, Information Research Services, Information Technology Services, Library, Operations, Marketing, Practice Systems Support, Recruitment, Attorney and Alumni Relations, and Professional Development. Each of these departments is headed by a Director, and all of our staff operations are overseen by our Executive Director.

Mark H. Madeley, Brussels Director of Administration.
Mark has been with Covington since November 2000. In Belgium for over 20 years, he worked in international project consulting for 10 years before moving into law firm administration. Mark is British and holds an undergraduate degree in German from Exeter University and a postgraduate diploma in management studies from Slough College. Mark speaks French, German and Dutch, and some Italian and Romanian.
