Covington & Burling LLP has a reputation for excellence in the practice of law. Covington has over 1,000 employees in non-legal positions in its US and European offices. Our staff provides a full range of support services in the following administrative departments: Accounting, Human Resources, Information Research Services, Information Technology Services, Library, Operations, Marketing, Practice Systems Support, Recruitment, Attorney and Alumni Relations, and Professional Development. Each of these departments is headed by a Director, and all of our staff operations are overseen by our Executive Director.
 Wendy Van Gijsegem, Brussels Office Manager
Wendy joined Covington in April 2010 and is responsible for the management of administrative and operational functions of the firm’s Brussels office. She received her Master’s in Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Wendy has several years of experience in operations administration in the energy sector and most recently served as an administrative manager at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Prior to joining VUB, she was an Energy Advisor to the Federal Minister of Economy, Energy, Foreign Affairs and Science Policy in Belgian Government and also held a number of positions in the private sector.
