Bruce Deming is a partner in the corporate group of the firm's San Francisco office.
Mr. Deming has a broad-based corporate and securities transactional and advisory practice, with extensive experience in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, securities offerings and capital markets activities. Mr. Deming serves as primary outside counsel to emerging growth and middle market companies, multinational corporations, venture capital and private equity funds, and individual entrepreneurs. He has represented U.S., Canadian, European and Asian clients active primarily in the life sciences, technology, and financial industries.
Drawing on almost 20 years of experience as a business executive, corporate attorney, and CPA, Mr. Deming offers a highly effective combination of legal, financial, and strategic skills.

- Asahi Kasei Pharma Corporation, a leading Japanese pharmaceutical company, in the spin-out of a late stage clinical product to a new company, Artisan Therapeutics, Inc., and simultaneous $39 million venture financing of Artisan.
- VantagePoint Venture Partners as lead investor in the Series A financing of Cobalt Technologies, Inc, a biofuels company.
- Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. in its proprietary capital markets and investment activities.
